Michele Amabile

Michele Amabile passed away on October 17, 2021, in West Islip, New York, at the age of 63. A life-long handyman, Michele worked over 20 years as a construction worker, project manager, and electrical engineer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Michele is survived by his wife of 17 years, Patricia; his daughter, Luana; stepdaughters, Xenia and Zaianna; and grandchildren Amaya, Angelica, and Jaxon, who affectionately called him Nono. Michele was born February 5, 1958, in Napoli, Italy, to Angelo Amabile and Pierina Montoneri. He graduated from the Federico II Di Napoli University in Italy with an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering. Michele had a passion for life and enjoyed cooking, traveling, and composing music. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on October 22, 2021, at Hawkins & Davis Funeral Home in Smithtown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michele’s honor to The Cancer Institute at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, NY.
