  1. We are sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. We know that heart your mother had for others is a rare gift that was given to you and so many others. We see the results of this through the children and grandchildren that she has affected.

  2. Alice was the real deal. She was a fantastic nurse, co-worker,friend, and care provider. There was not a pretentious bone in her body. She was genuine. She took the time to listen. She advocated for friends and patients. She exhibited strength and wisdom to those around her. I have never seen her rattled, even in emergencies she remained calm and clear. I worked with her at Memorial Hospital as a fellow nurse in Labor and delivery, plus she took care of me during my own high-risk pregnancy, providing care twice a week. She intervened on my behalf and made a call that made a difference in the health of my unborn son. (He is 15 now and is a great student and athlete.) She has been a close friend of my mom, Laine Mann, for as long as I can remember. Her life made a difference to countless people. I am grateful to have known her.
