Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. So very sorry for the loss of such a good person.
Ray was a wonderful part of my high school band years.
    What a trumpet line.
Exit 56 was great. I used the name as part of my first email address.
    Sincerely,
    JoAnn Jacob Krantz

  2. I was fortunate enough to get to hire Ray and work with him for over a year. That brain of his would take him to places the mere mortal could not comprehend. So much so that we would often call him Elmer Fudd because he was hunting rabbits down those rabbit holes he was going in. He had a wonderful ability to laugh at himself and was always quick to learn from mistakes. So much so that when he nearly missed our first interview, when I decided to give him a second chance, he was way early the second time. I’m am grateful God gave us the. Vance to become colleagues and friends in that short time. RIP Ray.

  3. Ray was a great colleague, and an even better friend. He cared deeply about everything, and it made working with him that much better. RIP Ray.

  4. I am truly saddened by Ray’s death. He was one of a small group of band friends who made high school a special place. What a sweet guy – smart, gentle, handsome and a heck of a trumpet player. He will be missed.

  5. Ray and I were band buddies and friends in high school. Those were some of the best days of my life.
I am very saddened to hear of his passing. May you hold many beautiful memories close to your hearts.
    Terry (Massaro) Swiatek

  6. On behalf of CAVU Flyers of Long Island – Ray was President for over 10 years
Our members admired and learned from Ray as he brought his love for Aviation to all of us over the years
We all send our sympathy and condolences to his family and friends
    Al Rosen
    Current President
    Cavu Flyers

  7. It truly was an Honor to know Ray while we were in high school ! Knew Ray would be successful in whatever he chose to do and he was as evidence by his beautiful family and so many friends pouring out their memories of Ray! Sincerest condolences and Prayers to Ray’s family! Know Ray will always be in your Hearts! May He Rest in Eternal Peace.
