  4. Nicole was truly a caregiver at heart. She loved so deeply and always made sure everyone around her was cared for. She adored her family and took pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. No matter what problems came up, Nicole was always there to help and comfort us. I’m going to miss her so much. I love you so much, Nicole. My deepest sympathy goes out to John, Ciara, and Patrick — I’m so sorry for your loss.

  5. Our deepest condolences to all of Nicoles family. Our families spent many holidays together and we have many fun memories that we hold dear to our hearts. May she rest in peace and may her family feel Gods love around them during this difficult time.

  6. Johnny, Ciara and Patrick we are thinking of you at this sad time. No woman could have been any prouder of her family and a better mother and wife would be hard to find. I wish with all my heart now more than ever we were in the same country. Your Irish cousins love you with all our hearts and we are sending strength and love to you all…the things Nicole embodied…she will get you through from above as she did on earth. Rest in peace Nicole …you fought hard and loved hard. Love to you all Burkes/Dwyers xxxxx

  7. Dear John, Ciara and Patrick, my family and I are very sorry for your loss. Nicole was always an amazing friend and I will always remember her infectious laughter and giggles. Whenever she thought that a situation was messed up, she referred to it as “tricky.” That became our code word for every person or situation that we disliked or disapproved of. We had a lot of laughs together, which we needed in order to get through our work days. She brought joy and sunshine into my life, even through my toughest times, and because of that I adored her so much! But what she enjoyed most was talking about you, her family, and all your fun trips to Disney. May all the happy memories you made together as a family bring you peace during this difficult time. God Bless you all.

  8. Nicole’s strength before and during her illness was an inspiration to all who knew her. We should all strive to be a little more like Nicole!

  9. I grew up with Nicole in New Fairfield. We were good friends, and I am so sad to see this. For the record, Nicole was FUN. She loved to dance. Her laughter was loud and infectious. She was flirtatious. She was bold. She was a voice of reason. She had a strong moral compass. She listened. She offered opinions, but only because she cared. Nicole was a deep well of empathy and sincerity and wit and love. She was the best kind of friend.

Much love to you, Nicole. To your family, I offer my deepest sympathy. Your loss is a great loss. And we all know it.

  10. Nicole was the essence of a true Warrior Woman. As a warrior would by definition, she fought valiantly.
We were all in awe of her determination and strength these past 3 years.
I will miss her so very much. I will miss her laughter, that unique laughter that can never be confused with anyone else. I will miss her no nonsense approach paired with a hearty helping of compassion. I will miss the times she called me at 5:30 in the morning because she knew I would be up.
Nicole, I will forever be grateful for the times we shared.
    You fought hard, cuz.
    Rest in peace.
    I love you.
    Maria Napoli Ali

    John, Ciara, and Patrick,
Our deepest condolences. May the joyous memories you all shared eventually bring comfort to you.
    All our love,
Maria, Joe, Victoria, Josh, & Paul
