Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. This candle is lit in loving memory of Eddy. His light and love will always stay with us.

  2. Eddy, we love you and will always miss you. You are forever in our hearts.

    Love Always,
    The Guarino’s

  3. Eddy, you were a good man. May you rest in peace. I will keep you in my heart and prayers.

  4. Anyone who knew Eddy knew that he was a serious guy. But Eddy was different with me. As we grew closer over the years, he showed me a lighter side—one filled with jokes, stories, and laughter. He soon became not only a friend, but a true grandfather figure in my life.

Eddy was an incredibly loving person. He did so much for me, whether it was sending thoughtful gifts to my college dorm or helping me with my first car. Eddy was always there to cheer me on and congratulate me on every accomplishment, big or small, throughout my life.

Those who knew Eddy also know that he was a storyteller. I cherished our many conversations over brunches and dinners, listening to him share stories about his life. He told me how proud he was of his parents’ love story, about the war, and about the car dealership in Brooklyn. Through our many calls and long chats, he also shared so much wisdom and advice with me—things I will carry with me forever.

Most of all, Eddy had endless love for my grandmother. He would often tell me how much she meant to him and how pure her heart is.

I’ll never forget the day I was out with my grandmother and Eddy when he began having chest pains. We later learned it was cancer. Eddy was a fighter and was willing to do anything and everything to win that battle. Although the cancer eventually overcame him, I take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering.

I will always cherish the time we shared. You will always have a special place in my heart.
    Rest easy, Eddy.

  5. Eddy,
A special place in my heart only for you, forever and forever!
You were my partner, my friend and the joy of my life.
Rest in peace my true love!
    Joann

  6. Eddy,
A special place in my heart only for you forever and forever.
My partner, my best friend, guardian angel and the joy of my life!
Rest in peace my true love,
    Joann

  7. I just want to say that Ed was such a great person to talk to. He always had such interesting and sometimes funny stories to tell. We had some great laughs so many times and he was always willing to help with anything we needed whether it was looking up information for something we were going to buy or just a helping hand.

Ed, I don’t think you realize how much you were loved by so many. I will never forget all the good times and will miss you so much. Love you!!

  8. Eddy, Let me start off by saying you were Just like a brother to me. Like so many others say I enjoyed
our conversations. Whether out for breakfast or just around the table, we were never lost for words. Ed never turned you down if you needed his help or wisdom. Even when I would forget about something I asked him, he would still be looking it up and call me with whatever I needed. But most of all I want to say that the love he had for my sister was unbelievable and true. She meant the world to him and he would tell me almost every time we were together.
You will truly be missed my brother. May you rest in peace
    Love John

  9. Eddy, we will truly miss your wisdom, sarcasm and how much you loved aunt Joann. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest easy.
Love Steve, Kerri, Joey, Nico and Gio
