  7. Dorothy was always kind, caring, and always a pleasure to work with. She will be missed. My condolences to her family and friends. 🙏🏾💔

  8. My heart breaks for you, Kerri and Alan. she literally married the boy next-door and they’ve had a love that was unheard of. She always talked about you Carrie when you were a little girl and of course growing up, she was everything that you said and more thank you for sharing.

  9. So so sad- really devastated- Kerri and Alan. I met Dor when I was 14 years old. She and Alan met around the same time and from the day they met they were connected. Her bright and bubbly personality stayed with her all the years.
I wish you peace and comfort in you knowing what an amazing person you were blessed to have in your life and I pray for Dor to rest in peace and comfort.

  10. I am so shocked to hear about Dorothy passing. She was such a sweet, caring, loving person who was always giving. I remember her smile and how happy she was when her first grandchild was born. Prayers to her family. RIP sweet Dorothy

  11. My heart continues to ache for the loss of my beautiful sister Dorothy. She was a wonderful big sister who nurtured me and helped me through so many times in my life! Reading the heartfelt words of her co-workers, friends and family is both comforting and painful as I cannot fathom the thought of never seeing or talking to her ever again. She was a dynamic force in my life and was always so positive and made me laugh! Allen has been like a wonderful big brother to me as I have known him since I was a young child. Their love for each other was so strong and they were two parts of a whole. I so vividly remember the day Kerri was born and the joy she brought them, along with the birth of Brayden and Blake. Dan and the boys loved all of the times we got to spend together….we will all miss her deeply! As I sit here writing this in tears, I am finding some strength in thinking how Dorothy would comfort me in this moment, if she was here. She would say, “Don’t worry Corny (her silliest, most loving nickname for me), it will all be ok!”

  12. Dorothy was a wonderful person. She brought goodness and light wherever she went. My heart goes out to Allen and Kerri for their loss. Her love will always be a part of them. Dorothy and Allen had a true love story and her beautiful legacy will live on in Kerri. Dorothy was an amazing woman with the kindest heart and I am very grateful to have known her.

  13. My deepest condolences to Alan and his family. I only knew Dorothy from my friendship with Alan. Would always enjoy seeing and talking with them at Rockwell’s from time to time . I ‘ll always remember her upbeat smile and pleasant demeanor. When they were together you could instantly recognize the love they had for each other. May she RIP.

  14. My thoughts and prayers are with Dawn and her family. Life is so precious. I can only imagine that Dorothy’s presence will be missed. Yet believe her memory will cherished.

    God Bless,
    Carol Cannova

  15. Dorothy, it is hard to believe I’m writing this after having dinner with you, Allen and Dawn less than a year ago. I remember back to the first time I met you at a BBQ at your house in Hicksville. It was clear and evident to me how happy you were to have Allen, Kerri and your family around you to celebrate the day! As the years went on, we developed a nice friendship and you probably never knew how instrumental you were in helping me through a difficult time in my life. Dawn and I looked forward to getting together with you and Allen as you guys always had such a jovial spirit and meshed so well together! I will always be impressed by your charismatic spirit and the ability to laugh at life’s funny moments, even in your time of crisis. Your presence put all of us at ease when we were with you. I will miss you and want you to know that Dawn and I and Dan and Matt will look out for Kerri, Allen and their family. Rest in Peace. Love your brother-in-law Dan
