Evelyn Chevere

Our beloved Evelyn Chevere was born on September 24, 1959 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. She was the daughter of Jesus and Carmen Chevere.

Evelyn was the heart of her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, and devotion to her family.

She was part of the Huntington Hospital community for 35 years where she made a lasting impression on those who knew her. Her gracious, loving and generous spirit will live on in our hearts and our memories.

May we honor her life and memory by doing the things we love. It gave her the greatest pleasure to see everyone happy and healthy. She was a ray of light and a source of comfort to many.

She is survived by her husband, Iran Colon, two children, Jasmine and Irak and their spouses, Rachel and Carlos. She is also survived by her siblings Jose, Mireya and Carlos. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Carmen and her siblings, Daisy and Luis.
