It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Arthur (Art) Sgaraglio. Art passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, on July 18th, 2026, at the age of 86.

Art lived a life defined by hard work, service, and an unwavering devotion to his family. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and continued his military career with the United States Navy Reserves.

He shared 63 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife Helen. Together they built a loving family that was the center of his life. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Artie (Wendy), Gina (Dennis), Joseph (Jennifer), and his 6 cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Jessica, Danny, Stephanie, Christopher, and Juliana, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

Giving back to others was important to him. After retiring to Pennsylvania, he continued his service by volunteering with RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) for 13 years, generously dedicating his time to serving his community. Upon returning to Long Island, he upheld his commitment to helping others by volunteering with The Salvation Army.
