Thomas Conway

Thomas “Tom” Daniel Conway, 84, passed away in Smithtown, New York. He was born in Queens, New York, on October 25, 1941. Tom was the devoted husband of Patricia Conway, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. They were married on April 5, 1964. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Tommy Conway, and his parents, Dorothy and Thomas Conway. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Conway; his daughter, Cindy Miliotto and her husband, Sal Miliotto; his son, Craig Conway and his wife, Kelly Conway; his cherished grandchildren, Sal and Marisa Miliotto. Tom had a deep love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter who treasured his time in the woods. Above all, he found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and friends. He was a passionate reader, proudly maintaining what he fondly called his “library” in the basement—a reflection of his vast knowledge and curious mind. Tom was a true outdoorsman, a walking encyclopedia, and someone who could laugh wholeheartedly and bring joy to everyone around him. He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, his emotional spirit, and his love of life— often enjoyed with a glass of Jack Daniel’s in hand.
