Andrew L. Webb, 60, of Ronkonkoma, NY, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2025. Born on June 12, 1964, Andrew was a devoted family man and a highly respected master finish carpenter.
Andrew graduated from John H. Glenn High School in 1982 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from SUNY Stony Brook. He channeled his passion for craftsmanship into a successful career as a Master Finish Carpenter. Owning his own woodworking business, Andrew was renowned for his exceptional talent, creativity, and problem-solving skills, which were admired by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
Andrew’s kindness, courage, and intelligence touched many lives. Known for his selfless nature, he was always ready to lend a hand, whether it involved fixing or building something, or simply being there to offer support and a listening ear. His response, invariably accompanied by a smile, was always, “no problem.”
Andrew is survived by his loving wife of nearly 27 years, Ellen Olsen-Webb; children, Devin Mungioli, Taylor Daye (Antoine), Paige Mungioli, and Sydney Webb; father, G. Thomas Webb of East Northport; siblings Thomas D. Webb (Gloria) of Queens, NY; Lisa Sullivan of Hooksett, NH; and Stephen Webb (Tracy) of Stoneham, MA. Andrew was a proud and loving grandfather (“Papa”) to Gabriella, Julianna, Damian, Everleigh, Carter, Brayden & Lilianna. He also leaves behind three brothers-in-law, Eric, Greg, and Kirk Olsen (Debbie), and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, as well as an uncle, aunt, and cousins. Andrew was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. (Soule) Webb, in May 2020.
Andrew’s legacy of love, support, and community will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him. His life exemplified a commitment to family, excellence in his craft, and an unwavering willingness to help others. Andrew’s life was a testament to his loving nature and his remarkable ability to touch the lives of others. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at Hawkins & Davis Funeral Home, 17 Manor Road, Smithtown, NY, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 1 – 5 pm. Pastor Mark Bigelow will conduct a special service at 3:00 pm at the same location.
